More Art Fraud

Here we are once again reading and speaking about fake artwork. This might be worse than the Van Gogh Fisherman I recently wrote about-

Miami is riddled with ‘fine art’ galleries that sell some local street art along side some Koons, Warhols and some stuff that looks like a wannabe Basquiat. They sell fake art all the time.

This time a gallery in the beautiful neighborhood of Coconut Grove was raided by the FBI April 9th.

Right now, to the public’s knowledge, a couple of Andy Warhol’s were confiscated. I think there will be more.

A family spent a boatload of money on some fugazi artworks a couple years ago; They recently found out the artworks they bought were fake. I’m gonna stray away from ripping this dude Roberts. He’s not doing anything new. The art world picks and chooses what fake works they let slide.

I’m gonna rip through the rich people that buy artwork without an art consultant/art historian. If you’re gonna buy art from a shit gallery in Miami, it would make sense to have a third party art historian to help you make that decision.

I mean, look at one of the confiscated works-

Alleged Andy Warhol confiscated by the FBI

Do I have to say more? This is an Andy Warhol?

(If anyone is looking for an art consultant let me know. I’m actively looking)
